Introduction to March scholarships
Whether you're a high school student with paying for college on your mind, or a current college student figuring out how you're going to pay for your education, you're in luck. March is a big month for scholarships!
Below, we have highlighted over forty great and diverse scholarship opportunities to check out and apply for in the month of March.

Eligibility: The San Diego Foundation Common Scholarship Application gives San Diego students access to more than 100 scholarships that comprise our Community Scholarship Program by filling out just one application. Applicants must have current residence in San Diego County (for at least one year).

Eligibility: Open to Black and African American high school senior students with financial need pursuing careers in technology at four-year universities in the US. Must plan to pursue a bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, or select business programs (such as finance, business administration, or marketing), and have at least a 3.3 GPA.

Eligibility: Open to high school seniors with disabilities who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and target a career in the technology industry. Must have financial need, a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a demonstrated passion for technology. Eligible majors include those in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or related fields.

Eligibility: Open to high school seniors with financial need who will be first-generation college students at any four-year college or university in the US. Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens, but they must have a minimum 3.5 weighted GPA and graduate from US accredited high schools. Eligibility: Open to students who will be entering any year of undergraduate study in the upcoming academic year, and want to enter product design or experience design-related careers (e.g. digital, web, UX/UI, industrial design, or similar). Applications are encouraged from candidates including, but not limited to: racial or ethnic minorities, females, those who identify as LGBTQ+, first-generation college students, and students with disabilities.

Eligibility: Open to US citizen high school juniors with financial need. Must display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity.

Eligibility: Open to students who currently hold an active license/certificate to practice in a clinical health career (e.g., as a nurse, physician assistant, clinical psychologist, or clinical social worker), and are enrolled in or planning to attend school to complete a degree or certification to advance their current clinical credentials.
Awards will be given to historically underrepresented students, including those who identify as Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, and Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.

Eligibility: Open to students who identify as a female/woman and pursue an ABET-accredited bachelor or graduate student program in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science globally.
Freshman scholarships are open to current college freshmen as well as high school seniors. Some, but not all, scholarships require SWE membership.
