Access Scholarships is a free online platform designed to help connect students like you with scholarship opportunities that fit your goals and values, with the ultimate goal of providing you with the resources to fund your higher education.

Access Scholarships is designed for high school, college, and graduate school students within the U.S. International students studying in the U.S. are eligible to create accounts, however, please note that certain scholarships are restricted to U.S. citizens only. If you are a parent of a student, you can also create a profile on behalf of your child or children by simply inputting their information into the search.

Yes! Access Scholarships is 100% free for students to use.

Great question, I'm glad you asked!! Transparency has always been super important to me, so whenever anyone asks this I always love to tell them more about my business model and how everything comes together. 

Being a very recent college graduate in a world where the cost of college is expensive, I completely understand my peers' desire to want to be able to access crucial resources without worrying about a price tag attached. So, when I was coming up with the idea for Access Scholarships, I searched for ways that I could make my platform 100% free for students to use. 

Since Access Scholarships does not have ANY ads (something which I was very adamant about), I rely 100% on affiliate marketing to run our site. This means that Access Scholarships has partnerships with other organizations in the higher education space, and if you go through them to apply for a certain scholarship or sign up for their platform through my site, I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of the quality of the resources they provide, and not because of the commission I may receive! 

To fully benefit from the services we provide, we encourage each student to create an account and fill in as much information about themself as possible so that they can receive scholarships that are both relevant and specific matches based on their profile. Additionally, signing up to receive emails from Access Scholarships (we promise we won’t spam you!) will ensure that you are always up to date on the most recent education-related information and that you will never miss a scholarship deadline.

We’re glad you asked! The competitiveness filter option is an extremely useful tool for students to take advantage of. It indicates the perceived competitiveness of each scholarship based on the number of applicants that that scholarship received in the previous cycle. This feature allows you to balance your potential “return on investment” and chances of winning each scholarship.

As you search for scholarships, you will have the ability to save scholarships (say, if you want to apply to them later) by clicking the heart-shaped button next to each scholarship. Once you have created an account with us, you will be able to access your Saved scholarships by going to “My Profile” → “My Scholarships” → “Saved”. The Applied page is a page for students to reference which scholarships they have applied to. If you click the “Apply Online”, “Online” or “Email” buttons for a certain scholarship, that scholarship will automatically be saved under the “Applied” tab under “My Scholarships” if you have created an account. If there are scholarships under your “Applied” that you have not yet applied to, you can simply click the trash icon to remove them from your Applied list.

If you have a question about a specific scholarship, you should reach out to the website or organization that is sponsoring the scholarship. This information can be found in the “Donor” box on each scholarship’s detail page.
