Details: Are you a Washington resident and incoming post-secondary student? If so, the Washington College Grant may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the grant is awarded to multiple Washington residents who will soon be enrolling in certificate programs, job training, apprenticeships, or college. The amount of scholarship money that each applicant may receive is dependent upon their family size, income, and the cost of their program.

Details: The mission of the Renaissance Scholars Program (RSP) is to provide scholarships to high achieving, low-income students who will be the first in their family to earn a bachelor’s degree. The Program offers a renewable college scholarship of up to $5,000 per academic year (a maximum of $20,000 toward your bachelor’s degree).

Details: The Wanda Munn Scholarship is for reentry and non-traditional female applicants who have a home address in or are planning to pursue a full-time ABET-accredited program in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington for the upcoming academic year.

Details: The Region J: Northwest Star Legacy Scholarship is open to SWE (Society of Women Engineers) members in an undergraduate or graduate program in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Montana, or Idaho. Applicants must be pursuing any engineering, technology, or computing major.

Details:The Washington Society of CPAs is a professional community of CPAs and financial professionals who work in business and industry, education, government, not-for-profit organizations, and public accounting. Scholarships of $5,000 will be awarded to juniors, seniors, and fifth-year students. Scholarships of up to $10,000 will be awarded to master’s and PhD students.

This $5,000 scholarship is offered to high school seniors and college students who reside in Idaho, Montana, Oregon, or Washington. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be in need of financial assistance, and have character qualities exhibiting a potential to excel.

Details: Are you a high school student residing in the American west or U.S. territories whose Governors participate in the bipartisan Western Governors’ Association (WGA)? More importantly, do you love where you live and have a passion for art? If so, you might consider applying for the Celebrate the West Contest! Each year, the scholarship awards between $200 and $1,500 to 23 lucky students who create a piece of artwork that most thoughtfully reflects an insight about the West or the applicant’s relation to the West.

Details: The INCIGHT Scholarship is funded by INCIGHT, an organization that unlocks the potential of individuals with disabilities through employment, education, and independence. Every year, their INCIGHT Scholarship awards $500 to multiple Washington, Oregon, and California residents who will be attending institutions of higher education and have any type of disability.

Details: Cathay Bank Foundation is committed to supporting youth residing in its business service territories to fulfill their dreams of obtaining a higher education. Each year, they offer 20 $2,500 scholarships to high school seniors across the US.

Details:Are you a female Washington resident who been admitted into or are already enrolled at a college or university approved by the Washington College Grant for the upcoming school year? Further, are/will you be working to attain a postsecondary credential up to their first Bachelor’s degree? If so, the WWIN Star Scholarship may be a great opportunity for you! Each year, the scholarship awards $5,000 each to multiple female Washington state residents who have been admitted into or are already enrolled at a college or university approved by the Washington College Grant

Details: The Jewish Nonprofit Employee Student Scholarship is awarded to a Jewish student who is an employee or child of an employee at a Jewish agency in the Puget Sound Region of Washington. Students attending community college, undergraduate, vocational and technical schools and are 25 of age or younger are encouraged to apply.

Details: The Washington State Thoroughbred Foundation Scholarship is available to Washington state residents OR students attending a Washington school from any background wishing to pursue a career in pre-veterinary medicine (equine practice only), equine science, racetrack management, equine business management or pasture management as it pertains to horse farms, equine or racetrack marketing and/or communications and other related fields.

Details: The Sybil H. Shearer Nursing Scholarship is available to current or previous graduates of a high school in Chelan County in Washington or a current resident of Chelan County, Washington. Students who plan to study nursing are welcome to apply.

Details: The WSADA Bright Future Scholarship is open to high school students enrolling and students currently enrolled in a Washington State automotive technology program. A few scholarships will also be awarded to Washington State high school seniors who are employees of a WSADA-member dealership, who are immediate family members of a WSADA-member dealership employee, or those who are applying to Northwood University’s Automotive Marketing and Management Program.

Details: To celebrate those working in horticulture, viticulture, landscaping, and other related fields, the Rick Pankow Foundation Scholarship annually awards up to $2,000 to individuals studying any of these fields.

Be sure to also check the website of both your high school and your college. Oftentimes, they maintain a page of scholarships in the community that offers some great options.
