Be female graduating San Diego County high school seniors. Have participated in San Diego varsity CIF cross-country and/or distance track (800 meters or greater) and plan to run cross-country and/or distance track (800 meters or greater) on a college or university NCAA competitive team.
Two one-time grants of $10,000 each for research in hydrology and/or water resources by Ph.D. candidates. Proposals may be in hydrology (physics, chemistry, or biology aspects) or water resource policy sciences (economics, systems analysis, sociology, or law).
Be graduating high school seniors who have participated in a varsity-level sport for at least two years. Plan to attend a UC (University of California) school in fall. Letter of recommendation on an official letterhead from their high school verifying your participation in varsity.
Be graduating seniors at Coronado High School. Have a history of active involvement in athletics (required for male applicants), extracurricular activities, community service and/or work experience.
