New Mexico scholarships offered by private organizations

  • Amount: $1,000

    Details: Before we get into all of the New Mexico-specific private scholarships, check out our very own. No essay or minimum GPA required to apply. Open to US citizens, international students in the US, and students with DACA and undocumented status.

    Eligibility: The ScholarshipPoints Scholarship is a monthly no essay scholarship open to all high school and college students ages 16 and older, who are US residents!

    Details: For the opportunity to win an $8,000 scholarship, submit a video or written essay about an individual you know personally (who lives in your community) who has inspired you and helped you build the confidence you need to achieve your goals.

    Details:  The Lottery Scholarship is awarded to eligible New Mexico residents who attend a public college or university in the state who attend full time and maintain a 2.5 GPA.

    Details: Renewable award program created to encourage New Mexico high school students to attend public or private post-secondary institutions full time in New Mexico. Must have graduated from a New Mexico high school in top 5% of class or obtain a score of 25 on the ACT or 1140 on the SAT.

    Details: The New Mexico Student Incentive Grant is for resident undergraduate students with substantial financial need who are attending a New Mexico public college or university or tribal college.

    Details: The Macy’s Emergency Scholarship Fund is a joint partnership between LNESC & Macy’s to provide financial resources to deserving students facing economic hardship and immediate monetary need.

    Details: The Civitas Foundation Scholarship is available to high school seniors who live within Civitas’ operating counties in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.

    Details: Are you an Albuquerque-area high school senior who demonstrates achievements or ongoing volunteer work supporting human rights and human dignity and who will be enrolling in an accredited nonprofit or public university or college in the fall.  Then this scholarship may be for you.

    Details: Are you a high school senior who will soon be graduating from a high school in the New Mexico Chapter area (New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, and the portion of Texas in the mountain time zone) and subsequently pursuing a course of study in the physical sciences or engineering at an institution of higher education? If so, you may be eligible!

    Details: To be eligible for this $5,000 scholarship, applicants must be graduating from a New Mexico high school, be planning to attend a college or university within the state, and demonstrate an interest in the agricultural industry.

    Details: The Daniels Scholarship, along with generous contributions from partner schools, covers the full cost of attendance (COA) at partner schools within Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Scholars that choose to attend a school outside our 4-state region receive up to $25,000 a year for qualified educational expenses.
