Applicants must have had a personal diagnosis of cancer, be a Florida resident between the ages of 18 and 21, and plan to attend college in Florida. Minimum 2.5 GPA required. Awards will be based on financial need, scholarship, community service, cancer diagnosis, type and length of treatment.
Fellowship to be awarded to a student wishing to complete a dissertation on the history of the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. Award carries a $15,000 stipend and will support one year of dissertation research. Applicant must be a graduate student in good standing and must be a U.S. citizen.
