Scholarship Description

The WSGC encourages teams from Academic Affiliates to participate in NASA-sponsored competitions. These opportunities are competitive in nature, involve a NASA center, and require a NASA-managed selection process. Competitions include, but are not limited to: Big Idea, HASP, Micro-G/NExT, RASC-AL, Robotic Mining, RockSat, Rover, Space Apps, Student Launch, S.U.I.T.S. and X-Hab. Each competition has its own application process. This announcement pertains only to the process by which teams can request WSGC funding to support participation in a NASA-sponsored competition. Participants must be: (1) Enrolled full-time in a WSGC college or university affiliate; (2) Registered with WSGC under the Student Professional Programs; (3) Attend and present project status at the 30th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference; (4) Submit a Proceeding Paper to the Annual Proceedings of the 30th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference. Application deadlines: Nov 12 (Fall Application)/Feb 4 (Spring Application). Project/Travel Awards: Up to $3,000 per project (Based on availability of funds).

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
