Whether we like it or not, school is just around the corner, and so are those August scholarships!
This post highlights twenty scholarships for students of all kinds to apply for throughout the month of August. As always, some of these August scholarships are open specifically for students who meet certain eligibility requirements related to major, home state, residence, or GPA. However, we also list plenty of scholarships in this post that are open to a wider range of students.

Eligibility: This no essay scholarship is open to high school seniors and undergraduate students in the US.

Eligibility: Open to high school, college and graduate students in the US.
Amount: $25,000 total

Eligibility: Open to all high school and college students, as well as anyone looking to attend college or graduate school in the next year. Must be a US citizen.

Eligibility: Open to US citizens with at least a 3.0 GPA. Must be a currently enrolled college student in a four-year university, or a graduate student.

Eligibility: This college scholarship of $1,500 is open to high school seniors, undergraduates, and graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, participation and leadership in school activities and work experience, and interest in pursuing a career in the health and fitness-related fields.

Eligibility: Open to rising sophomore and junior undergraduate Latino students attending a U.S. post-secondary institution with an interest in the media and entertainment industry.

Eligibility: Open to African American women pursuing a degree in an area leading to a career in STEM or financial services. Priority consideration will be granted to applicants attending an HBCU or the University of Miami. Must be enrolled as an incoming college junior.

Must be majoring in a field of science or engineering, including life sciences or science education, with application to fields in space science or aerospace engineering. Minimum 3.5 GPA.
