Introduction to November Scholarships

Ah November, the month of Thanksgiving!

I don't know about you, but one thing that I am SUPER thankful for is all of the awesome November scholarships that are open and accepting applications.

We've got full-ride scholarships, easy scholarships, scholarships for leadership, scholarships for specific majors, and so much more.

There truly are so many great opportunities, which of course made it difficult to narrow this list down to just a few dozen.

But, at the end of the day, it had to be done!

So, without further ado, keep scrolling to check out our list of top November scholarships of all kinds that you can (and should!) apply for before the month is over.

Scholarships to Apply for in November 2021

    Deadline: Quarterly

    Eligibility: Open to all students 13 and older!

  • Amount: $2,000

    Deadline: November 30

    Eligibility: Open to high school seniors and undergraduate students in the US.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: November 15 & 30 

    Eligibility: Open to students of all years! Simply set up a profile on Tallo to apply.

  • Amount: Varies, but it's usually between $1,000 and $2,500!

    Eligibility: Open to high school, college, and graduate students in the US.

  • Amount: $2,222

    Eligibility: Open to students ages 13 and older. All you need to do to apply is create an account.

    Eligibility: Open to high school juniors and seniors interested in attending a Christian college or university.

  • Amount: $80,000

    Eligibility: Open to Colorado high school seniors. Must be used at a Colorado college or university.

    Eligibility: Open to current college students (must be US citizens) who have either served in the Armed Forces or who are the children of a US veteran. Minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Eligibility: Open to students who are planning to enroll in or who are currently enrolled full-time in beautician/cosmetology school.

  • Amount: $7,500

    Deadline: November 1

    Eligibility: Open to graduate students enrolled in ABET or ACCE accredited construction management or construction-related engineering programs.

  • Amount: $16,000

    Deadline: November 1

    Eligibility: Open to Christian students who are pursuing graduate studies at premier universities in fields considered to be underrepresented by Christians (see scholarship page for specific fields and more details).

  • Amount: $3,000

    Deadline: November 1

    Eligibility: Open to undergraduate and graduate school students enrolled in dental hygiene programs at ADEA member institutions. Must be an ADEA member to apply.

  • Amount: up to $15,000

    Deadline: November 4

    Eligibility: Open to young leaders ages 14-18 who are bringing powerful vision and real change to their communities. Must be legal residents of the US or Puerto Rico.

  • Amount: up to $20,000

    Deadline: November 5

    Eligibility: Open to graduating high school seniors who are residents of the following states: New York, Colorado, Georgia, North Carolina, Illinois. Must have at least a 3.5 GPA and have an annual combined family income of $70,000 or less.

  • Amount: up to $5,000

    Deadline: November 10

    Eligibility: Open to Asian/Pacific Islander students enrolled in full-time undergraduate degree programs. Must be US citizens with financial need. Preference is given to students living at or below the poverty level, as well as to students who are first-generation college students.

  • Amount: $2,000 - $250,000

    Deadline: November 10

    Eligibility: This STEM competition is open to US high school seniors.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: November 12

    Eligibility: Open to currently enrolled college and graduate school students pursuing any major/area of study. Minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • Amount: $10,000

    Eligibility: Open to underserved high school seniors from the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, Yolo.

  • Amount: $2,000

    Deadline: November 12

    Eligibility: Open to African American nursing students (junior or senior level standing) enrolled at Mississippi colleges and universities.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: November 14

    Eligibility: Open to high school seniors in the US with Hispanic heritage. Minimum 3.0 GPA. 

  • Amount: N/A

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: Open to ​​Black non-cis-male creatives currently enrolled in college. Must be interested in pursuing a career as an art director, copywriter, UX designer, or strategist.

  • Amount: $25,000 per year

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: This “last dollar” scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming who demonstrate exceptional character, leadership, and a commitment to serving their communities.

  • Amount: up to $16,000

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: Open to female students with financial need who are enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program. This award is open internationally to women in the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guam, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Taiwan, United States of America, Venezuela.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: Open to undergraduate juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students, pursuing education-related majors to become elementary school teachers.

  • Amount: $2,500

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: Open to high school, college, and graduate students interested in/pursuing a degree in journalism or photojournalism. High school students must have taken at least one art or photography class, and college students must have taken at least one course in photography.

  • Amount: $5,000

    Deadline: November 15

    Eligibility: Open to students pursuing technology-related degrees from accredited four-year institutions in the US.

  • Amount: $10,000

    Deadline: November 18

    Eligibility: Open to HBCU seniors with unmet financial need. Minimum 3.5 GPA.

  • Amount: up to $40,000 per year

    Deadline: November 18

    Eligibility: This full-ride scholarship program is open to high achieving high school seniors with financial need. Minimum 3.5 GPA. Must be planning to attend a four-year college or university in the US. Applicants must reside in the United States or a U.S. territory and attend high school in the United States.

  • Amount: $4,000

    Deadline: November 30

    Eligibility: Open to high school seniors, undergraduate, and graduate students. If you’re an aspiring designer, manufacturer, engineer, artist, architect, or any other type of innovator, this scholarship is intended for you.

  • Amount: $500 - $1,000

    Deadline: November 30

    Eligibility: Open to Hispanic students who are high school seniors or undergraduate freshmen, sophomores, or juniors. Must have at least one parent with Hispanic ancestry. Open to US citizens and undocumented/DACA students.

  • Amount: $2,500 

    Deadline: November 30

    Eligibility: Open to full-time undergraduate and graduate school students enrolled at accredited US colleges/universities. Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be a US citizen.

  • Amount: Full-tuition!

    Eligibility: Open to high school seniors with financial need living in one of Act Six's program sites. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
