Scholarships for students in North America who are of South Asian descent (includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, Indo-Caribbean) or those with a demonstrated interest in South Asia or South Asian issues. Must be interested in pursuing journalism. Applicant must be a high school senior, undergraduate student or graduate-level student.
$5000 cash award to promote development of a broad understanding of naval history within the American national experience. Must be active duty commissioned officer of the U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps with demonstrated leadership potential and high academic qualifications who is already pursuing graduate study in history, international relations, or a related field.
Scholarship for deserving young adults to achieve the goal of becoming teachers. Must have a 2.0 GPA or higher, participate in JROTC or a team sport, and a desire to major in education.
