ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program

Scholarship Description

The ASM Global Stars Scholarship Program is awarding $2,500 scholarships for up to 20 students who share ASM Global’s passion for connecting people through the power of live experience. Take the stage and become ASM Global’s next star!

To apply, you must be a high school senior, high school graduate or current undergraduate who resides in an eligible city in California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma or Pennsylvania (see the application site for a full list of eligible communities) in the United States. You must also self-identify as female (any race/ethnicity), or as a member of a traditionally underserved racial or ethnic background: Black or African American; American Indian or Alaska Native; Hispanic or Latino; Asian American; or Native Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year, pursuing a degree in one of the following areas of study (or similar):

• Business/International Business (Marketing, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources)
• Hospitality/Entertainment/Sports Management
• Culinary Arts
• Communications/Public Relations/Digital Media
• Information Technology
• Graphic Design

Eligibility Requirements

• 2.5 Minimum GPA
• For residents of the following states: California, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania
• Must be Female
• Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
• Must be American Indian/Alaska Native
• Must be Asian/Pacific Islander
• Must be Black, African American
• Must be Hispanic, Latino/a
