Scholarship Description
Inquire Higher is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that promotes the success of Black students and professionals through multimedia and community support. It will award The Black Student Success Scholarship to two students: 1) one high school senior who plans to enter college or trade school in the Fall, and 2) a current undergraduate or trade school student who expects to graduate in the Fall or later!
Each scholarship amount is $1,500 and includes access to college success mentorship and career guidance resources from Inquire Higher. We understand that every dollar counts, and want to provide a student with the opportunity to create one less worry as they begin their college or career journey.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
– Must currently hold a 2.75 unweighted, cumulative GPA or higher
– High school senior or undergraduate student at the time of submitting the application
– Planning to attend or currently attends a U.S., two or four-year college/university or trade school
– Have an anticipated graduation data of Fall 2023 or later
– Be of Black or African American descent
– Can demonstrate leadership and community service involvement
– Can demonstrate financial need

- Must be Black, non-Hispanic
