Awards 1000 scholarships of CAN$11000-15000 each to reward the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in the second year of a master’s program. Must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants and attending a postsecondary institution in Alberta. Students are nominated by the faculty of graduate studies. Scholarship for minority teacher candidates who rank in the upper half of their class or have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be a U.S. citizen and Kentucky resident enrolled in one of Kentucky’s eight public institutions. Must teach one semester in Kentucky for each semester the scholarship is received.
