Merit and need scholarships of $1000 each are available for college and graduate students of Chinese descent and a resident of Minnesota. Applicants will be evaluated on their academic records, leadership qualities, and community service.

The Frank M. Chapman Memorial Fund supports ornithological research anywhere in the world. Priority for funding is given to grants investigating fundamental questions in evolutionary ornithological science (see http://research.amnh.org/vz/ornithology/grants-and-funding for details about the scope of awards). Awards are for one year; most grants range between $500-$2,000.
