Each year, the New England Chapter grants two scholarship awards of $2,500. The Chapter encourages recipients of our scholarship to be involved within the profession of arboriculture. The recipients are also provided with a full annual conference registration, one night lodging, and two complimentary banquet tickets for an accompanying guest.
One award to a graduate home economics student who is a member of Kappa Omicron Nu. Candidate must demonstrate scholarship, research, and leadership potential. Scholarship, leadership, service, and integrity are the values that the National Society of Collegiate Scholars stands for and the NSCS Spirit Award will recognize members who exemplify these ideals. Five (5) scholars will receive $1,000 each.
The NSPE Education Foundation Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship is awarded annually to a female undergraduate entering or continuing their junior year of a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. The scholarship is awarded in one disbursement of $2,500 at the beginning of the junior year.
Nursery Employee Award: $1,000 to a college student in ornamental horticulture who is employed by an OAN member firm.
Nurseries Memorial Award: $1,000 to a graduate student in ornamental horticulture.
