This $4,000 scholarship is offered annually for graduate students in psychology who demonstrate a financial need and are committed to improving the disparities in societal structures and issues that negatively impact communities of color, particularly of African descent. Eligibility: Must be a minority graduate student enrolled in an accredited master’s or doctoral program.

A one-time $2,500 award is given to three students who are in financial need and who have been accepted or is currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing. A letter of acceptance into a nursing program or a transcript stating the applicant is in a nursing program must be included with the application.
Research fellowship to enable graduate students in biology, horticulture, or a related field to conduct field research. Preference given to students whose projects focus on the endangered flora of the Carolinas and the southeastern United States.
