You may or may not know this, but I spent the month of March raising money so that I would be able to give away more than just one scholarship this quarter because there are so many students in need.
In order to enter to win the money fundraised, students simply had to enter for our $1,000 scholarship by March 31st.
Following that deadline, I randomly selected 60 students who had applied to go through an additional application process which included a financial need analysis and short written submission.
From there, I went ahead and selected three students - one in high school, one in college, and one in graduate school - for our three additional winners!
Before I go ahead and announce our scholarship winners for this quarter, I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who so kindly donated to my GoFundMe scholarship fundraiser.
With your help, I was able to award THREE additional scholarships this quarter, each worth $500! I couldn't have done this without you!
As always, I randomly selected one entrant to win our $1,000 Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship.
The winner of the March Too Cool Scholarship is...
Chloe is a high school senior from Wisconsin, who will be attending Arizona State University this fall to study political science. Congrats, Chloe!
As I mentioned earlier, I also gave away THREE $500 scholarships this month, which, unlike our $1,000 scholarship, were additionally based on financial need.
Here are the three winners of those $500 scholarships:
Nohemi Vasquez is a current college student enrolled in an architecture program at El Paso Community College. Congrats, Nohemi!
Shauna is an incoming graduate school student at Emerson College, where she will be studying Communication Disorders, moving along the path to eventually become a speech-language pathologist!
Our third $500 scholarship winner is Teresa. She is a high school senior attending North Dakota State University in the fall.

Our next $1,000 Too Cool to Pay for School Scholarship deadline is June 30, and we also have our $500 Self-Reflection Scholarship which is open until May 31!
