Delaware scholarships offered by private organizations

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadlines: Quarterly

    Details: Before we get into all of the Delaware-specific private scholarships, check out our very own. No essay or minimum GPA required to apply. Open to US citizens, international students in the US, and students with DACA and undocumented status.

  • Amount: $25,000

    Eligibility: The ScholarshipPoints Scholarship is a monthly no essay scholarship open to all high school and college students ages 16 and older, who are US residents!

  • Amount: $3,500

    Deadline: January 31

    Details: Available to high school seniors or students from the state of Delaware. Must also be accepted into or have applied to enroll in the engineering program of a four-year, ABET accredited college. Must demonstrate academic excellence and involvement in extracurricular activities in either the community, in school, or both.

    Details: The scholarship was established to assist minority female graduating high school seniors pursue their goal for higher education. Scholarship funds are awarded to the successful candidate(s) who is/are able to exemplify Scholarship, Leadership, and Community Service.

    Details: The Achievement Scholarship for Students with a History of Chronic Illness is available to graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Delaware who have experienced a health-related issue, lasting at least 6 months, that impeded the student’s pursuit of their education are welcome to apply.

    Details: The Association Board will award six (6) $500.00 scholarships to worthy applicants from each county (New Castle, Kent, Sussex) who meet all of the scholarship criteria.

  • Amount:  $2,500

    Details: Each year Del-One Federal Credit Union will award two $2,500.00 scholarships to students that meet the eligibility requirements. The scholarship will be awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, credit union participation and financial need.

    Details: The Carl Hill Memorial Scholarship program recognizes residents of Delaware or an adjacent county in Maryland, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania. Students who are attending the University of Delaware’s College of Business and Economics and seeking a bachelor’s degree related to the financial services industry.

    Details: The Dr. Jill Biden Scholarship – Biden Breast Health Initiative recognizes graduating Delaware high school seniors. Students who are seeking a degree in health care or education are welcome to apply.

  • Amount: $2,500

    Details: The scholarship will be awarded to a full-time student who majors in engineering or environmental studies at an accredited university or college.

    Details:  Current high school senior pursuing a college degree in food or nutrition-related program at an accredited 2- or 4- year college/university.

    Details: This scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors who are planning to attend further education in an accredited higher education program or students currently enrolled in an undergraduate program who have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.

    Details:  The scholarship provides eligible youth up to $5,000 a year to cover the costs associated with post-secondary education or training programs. You must be a current or former Delaware youth, who is or has experienced foster care in Delaware.

    Details: The Delaware PTA is proud to offer 2 scholarship opportunities. The applicant must be a Delaware resident (who also attends a high school in the state of Delaware), and who will be matriculating into a two- or four-year college/university.

    Details: The scholarship was established to provide a financial scholarship award for high school seniors seeking higher educational learning that will impact their career choice in memory of Brandon Lee Brinkley.

    Details: The Trinidad and Tobago Cultural Association of Delaware (TTCAD) invites graduating high school seniors from Delaware to apply to the Caribbean-American Scholarship Award.
