Vermont scholarships offered by private organizations

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadlines: Quarterly

    Details: Before we get into all of the Vermont-specific private scholarships, check out our very own. No essay or minimum GPA required to apply. Open to US citizens, international students in the US, and students with DACA and undocumented status.

  • Amount: $25,000

    Eligibility: The ScholarshipPoints Scholarship is a monthly no essay scholarship open to all high school and college students ages 16 and older, who are US residents!

  • Amount: $1,500

    Deadline: February 12

    Details: This scholarship was established to assist a graduating high school senior who lives in a designated Vermont town and who has demonstrated a strong commitment to the environment.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Details:  Are you seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or finance and is among the first generation in your family to attend college (neither parent received a bachelor’s degree).  This scholarship may be for you!

    Details: This scholarship is offered to Rutland County students who demonstrate an interest in land use planning or a related field of study.

  • Amount: $2,000

    Deadline: February 12

    Details: This scholarship was created to honor Scott Campitelli’s deep passion for community media, lifelong learning, and free speech. It is offered to any Vermont high school senior who is pursuing an education in radio, television, broadcasting, or film.

  • Amount: $2,000

    Details: This $3,000 scholarship is for female residents of northeastern Vermont who have high financial need and who wish to pursue education after high school.

  • Amount: $2,500

    Deadline: January 31

    Details: The Wayne Dudley Scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergraduate students who or their parents reside in the Premier membership area and must be active Premier customers. Students planning to pursue postsecondary education in agriculture-related fields are welcome to apply.

  • Amount: $2,000

    Details: Are you an aspiring journalist from New England? If so, consider applying for the Journalism Education Foundation of New England Scholarship! Each year, the scholarship awards up to $2,000 to ten (10) graduating high school seniors or current undergraduates from Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont who are studying journalism or a related field.

  • Amount:  $2,500

    Details: Are you’re majoring or thinking about majoring in a plant-oriented field of study, we recommend that you apply for the New England ISA Undergrad/Grad scholarship!

  • Amount: $4,000

    Deadline: April 1

    Details: To be eligible a student enrolled in a civil engineering program at a 4-year college or university. Applicants must also must be attending or have been accepted into an appropriate college/university program at the undergraduate or graduate level and be from or attending school in New England.

  • Amount:  $3,000

    Deadline: April 1

    Details: The Francis X. Crowley Scholarship annually awards $3,000 to a student enrolled in a civil or environmental engineering program or a business management program at a 4-year college or university in New England.

  • Amount: $1,000

    Deadline: April 16

    Details: Are you a college-bound high school senior or graduate from Vermont who has a passion for golf and is enrolled in, or has been accepted as a full-time student at a post-secondary institution? If so, you may be eligible! Each year, up to $1,000 each is awarded to up to 10 incoming college freshmen from Vermont who have a current and active affiliation with the game of golf such as competing on a golf team, working at a golf course, and/or participating in golf programs or events.

  • Amount: $1,500

    Deadline: April 26

    Details: The SENEDIA STEM Scholarship is open to students enrolled in a science, technology, engineering, or math field with the potential to support the future national security and defense sector workforce.

  • Amount: $17,000

    Deadline: May 1

    Details: A renewable award open to full-time undergraduate students with financial need who display academic achievement, a commitment to serving others (in school, in the community or at home) a strong work ethic, and leadership qualities. A U.S. citizen or noncitizen who has a current lawful presence in the United States and has a work permit, and is a permanent resident of a New England state. 

  • Amount:$1,000 (15 available)

    Details: Are you a high school senior who demonstrate personal excellence on and off the ice. All applicants must be New England residents and skate at FMC arenas.
