Scholarship Description
Georgia’s Zell Miller Grant is available to Georgia residents who are working towards a certificate or diploma at a Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) or University System of Georgia (USG) institution.
The Zell Miller Grant award amount is the standard undergraduate tuition rate based on the school the student attends and the number of hours enrolled. To determine the award amount you may receive, please review the Scholarship & Grant Program Award Amounts.
Application Procedure
Students have two options when applying for the Zell Miller Grant:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or,
- Complete the online Georgia Student Finance Application (GSFAPPS) or printable paper GSFAPPS application.
Note: The FAFSA must be completed each year.
Eligibility Requirements
- 3.5 Minimum GPA
- For residents of the following states: Georgia
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
