Zakat Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship Description

Preparing for college is an exciting time, but it can also be an overwhelming undertaking. At Zakat Foundation of America, we value community service and students who have a volunteering spirit. This year, we want to appreciate those students who have consistently given their time to help others.

Furthermore, we are offering scholarships to students in foster care graduating this year. Zakat Foundation of America (https://www.zakat.org/) is offering a total of 40 scholarships valued at a total of $20,000 for students across the USA entering college.

To be eligible to apply for a ZF scholarship, you must be:

• A high school senior graduating entering a 2- or 4-year college
• A resident of CA, DE, MD, VA, IL, NJ, NY, or NC
• Must have completed high school in your respective state
• Must have been heavily involved in community service throughout high school

ZF Volunteer eligibility also includes – must have volunteered a minimum of 20 hours with ZF in the past 12 months

Eligibility Requirements

• Must currently be in high school
• Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
