Scholarship Description

New initiates of Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity that achieved a 3.75/4.0 GPA or better during their candidate term and are an undergraduate at a chapter in good standing should complete the application. Upon approval qualified applicants will be named Sigma Alpha Mu Foundation Young Scholars and will be awarded a one-time scholarship of $500, thanks to the generosity of Sidney Guller.

Each year in August the chapter with the most Young Scholars during the past academic year will be recognized at Convention and will receive a $1000 award. Two awards will be given-based on chapter size-one to a small chapter, one to a large, based on Young Scholars in the chapter.
