Scholarship Description

The Central Texas Bluegrass Association (CTBA or Association) is dedicated to furthering the enjoyment of bluegrass music through teaching, sharing and playing. Incorporated in 1978 as a Texas nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation, the Association welcomes all bluegrass friends, fans, and pickers to become active members. The CTBA Board of Directors established this Scholarship to assist the recipient in covering the cost of tuition at any bluegrass camp or workshop. The Board also sets the amount of this Scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens

About CTBA Our Mission The Central Texas Bluegrass Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote bluegrass music in Central Texas. This website describes our programs, including our monthly Bulletin, the Bluegrass in the Schools project, CTBA Music Scholarship, CTBA compilation CD, as well as area bluegrass jams and shows.
