Scholarship Description

Scholarship seeks to encourage individuals who have the potential to make a significant positive difference in the long-term protection of wilderness in North America. Award is made in support of research and preparation of a paper on an aspect of wilderness establishment, protection, or management. Research project must be carried out in, or apply to, the U.S., Canada, or Northern Mexico.

Eligibility Requirements

• Award is available to U.S. citizens
• Award is available to Canadian citizens
• Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

• A two-page double-spaced cover letter. A 3-5 page double-spaced proposal.
