Scholarship Description
Applicants must have been accepted or is currently enrolled in a nursing program for an Associates or Bachelors nursing degree, proven by a letter of acceptance or transcript. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and resident of the State of Colorado and attend an accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must obtain a letter of sponsorship from a Colorado DAR Chapter. The scholarship will be judged and awarded without regard to race, religion, sex, national origin and disability. All awards are judged based on academic excellence, commitment to field of study (as required), and financial need by a committee of judges outside the NSDAR. The scholarship award is paid directly to the college or university of winners choice upon proof of registration. No person shall receive any scholarship award more than once.
