Scholarship Description

Provides financial assistance to Maryland resident U.S. Armed Forces personnel who served in Afghanistan or Iraq Conflicts and their children or spouses who are attending institutions within the University System of Maryland, other than the University of Maryland University College and the University of Maryland, Baltimore.

Eligibility Requirements

  • For residents of the following states: Maryland
  • Served in any military service
  • Served in Air Force
  • Served in Army
  • Served in Navy
  • Served in Marines
  • Served in Coast Guard
  • Special military service requirements
  • Served in Air National Guard
  • Served in Army National Guard
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
