Scholarship Description
The USMA/Blake scholarship is designed to help promote American metrication by providing partial funding for the first year in college to a high school student who has shown an interest in American metrication. Award of the scholarship will be given to a student who submits an application essay showing what they have done to help promote increased usage of the SI Metric System in the United States.
Win a $2,500 scholarship to be applied to tuition payments for a two or four-year undergraduate degree.
All US high school seniors are eligible to apply for the USMA/Blake Family (Student) Metric Scholarship Award.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must currently be in high school
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
