Trig-Star Scholarship

Scholarship Description

Each year, through the National Society of Professional Surveyors Foundation (NSPSF), the Trig-Star Scholarship is offered as funded by a variety of individuals, companies, and organizations to encourage and support college education in geospatial sciences. Applicants must be high school seniors, or college freshmen or sophomores, who have participated in the Trig-Star Contest at some point in their high school career, and who plan to enroll, or are already enrolled in a college degree program leading to a degree in surveying and mapping (the Land Surveying profession). The applicant does not have to have won at any level of the Trig-Star Contest, but must have participated in the contest at the high school level. • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Award is available to U.S. citizens

• Essay required
• Recommendations or references required
• Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
• Driver’s license required
• Indication of when the applicant competed in the Trig-Star contest
