Scholarship Description

Two grants are awarded each year—one to a graduate student and one to an undergraduate student. All recipients must agree to make a presentation at the SSSS
Annual Conference the following year. Further, in any publication or presentation based on data from the SSSS funded project, all recipients must acknowledge that their project is “Supported by a Student Research Grant from The Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality.”

Each applicants must be a current SSSS Student Member before applying for the grant, and they must remain a member the following year (in which they present their work at the Annual Conference). The applicant’s mentor or chairperson of the applicant’s department must submit an e-mail to [email protected], confirming the applicant’s student status.

Application note: Since proposal blind review will be done, applicants must not put their name or name of their institution or professors in the application. For more information, visit sexscience.org.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
