Scholarship Description
The scholarship was developed to identify and award a Wake County public school graduating senior who has demonstrated a creative gift or special talent in visual or performing arts, leadership, teaching, entrepreneurship or other area of talent who is that “diamond in the rough.” One student will be nominated by a committee directed by the Arts Department Chair from each Wake County high school based on the criteria above. The student will be asked to complete an application and the top three candidates may be asked for an interview.

- Must currently be in high school
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
