Scholarship Description
The purpose of this competition is to provide graduates and undergraduates in their junior or senior year with an opportunity to present their current, recently (within the last 3 months) completed or ongoing individual research on an environmental health related topic to environmental health professionals at the National Environmental Health Association’s (NEHA) annual education conference. This is an extraordinary opportunity for students to experience a professional conference, to network with potential employers and to gain experience presenting their work in a formal session and during a poster session. Some students have even landed jobs as a result of winning the competition and meeting their future employer at the conference. Further, the scholarship provides $1,000 in cash and an all-expenses paid trip to NEHA’s conference held annually each summer.
