Scholarship Description
Scholarships of $2000 to $5000 are awarded to members of Society of Physics Students (SPS) for undergraduate study.
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

- Transcript required
- Recommendations or references required
- Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
- Outline of the physics and related courses, Written statement of the applicant’s career objectives, Written statement of the applicant’s participation in SPS activities, Certification from the Department Chair

Membership, through collegiate chapters, is open to anyone interested in physics. The only requirement for membership is that you be interested in physics. Besides physics majors, our members include majors in astronomy, chemistry, computer science, engineering, geology, mathematics, medicine, and other fields.
