SIT Study Abroad Scholarships

Scholarship Description

The School for International Training (SIT) offers scholarship funding to qualified students interested in participating in one of SIT’s many study abroad programs around the world. SIT offers a wide range of scholarships and grants that can be applied toward the costs of tuition and housing accommodation for students during their time abroad.

Please note that SIT scholarships are available only for students applying to an SIT Study Abroad program. See list of all SIT programs.

We offer a broad range of scholarships and grants, including our award-winning Pell Grant Match. Semester scholarship awards generally range from $500 to $5,000, and summer awards typically range from $500 to $3,000. It is possible that students receiving special SIT scholarships and who are using their Pell Grant for a summer program may receive a partial match award.

Scholarship Deadlines

• April 1 for summer programs
• May 15 for fall programs
• November 1 for spring programs

Eligibility Requirements

• 2.5 Minimum GPA
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
• Award is available to Canadian citizens
• Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.
