Scholarship Description
The Luso-American Education Foundation has administered and awarded scholarships and grants to eligible students since its inception in 1963. LAEF has granted over $1,700,000 in scholarships and grants throughout the years and continues to serve its community through its scholarship and grant program.
Ryan “Munchie” Taylor Memorial Scholarship awards a one-time non-renewable scholarship in the amount $1,000.
Requirements:
1. Applicant must be enrolled to begin classes at a community college, trade school, or four-year College/University.
2. Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.5
3. Applicant must have held a local or State Youth Officer position and performed in the Youth Theatrical Program.
4. Applicant must be a member of Youth Council #24 Northern San Joaquin Valley.

- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
