Scholarship Description

The Ruby Ennis Maynard Scholarship provides educational opportunities for women of Onslow County, NC who have been out of the workforce for a period of time, or need to upgrade their skills or education in order to succeed in or change their career. The scholarship encourages women to strive to improve their lives, and consequently the lives of their children, through education. Preference will be given to applicants who: are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Jacksonville, NC, are single, separated, divorced, widowed or head-of-household where the husband is unable to work. Are age 30 or older. The application form is available on the site and should be mailed.
