Scholarship Description
At Robbins Athletics, we love sports, athletic competition, working out, and everything about improving physically. That’s what our business is all about. We’re also really into the academic side of self-improvement.
After all, becoming faster, stronger, physically disciplined, more coordinated, and healthier involves a great deal of learning. Going through the often grueling process of developing the skills required to become a better competitor is in many way similar to what it takes to work through all the time and effort required to earn a college degree.
That’s why Robbins Athletics offers a $1,000 scholarship to the person who can show us that your love for academic improvement and education matches your love of sports and athletic competition.
Your essay should demonstrate that you are made of uncommon stuff. We love to hear about specific (true) experiences with athletic competition that you’ve had and what how they’ve molded your character and contributed to the person you are today. Help us understand that you understand the value of lifelong involvement in sports, fitness, and competition.
Eligibility Requirements
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
