Scholarship Description
The Research Scholar Grant (RSG) supports independent investigators in the first 6 years of an independent research career or faculty appointment are eligible to apply. Eligibility is extended for 8 years for clinician scientists who remain active in clinical care. Applicants typically must be within 12 years of receiving a terminal (doctorate) degree and cannot have more than one R01/R01-like grant (>$100,000/year direct costs for more than 3 years) as principal investigator at the time of application. Deadline: April 1 and October 15
