Rees Scholarship Foundation – HVACR and Water Heating Technician Program

Scholarship Description

The Rees Scholarship Foundation offers multiple scholarship programs to support the HVACR industry. Each year, the foundation’s HVACR and Water Heating Technician Program awards scholarships of up to $2,000 each to qualified students who are enrolled in an HVACR training program at an accredited institution. Scholarship recipients also receive a free Ready to Work test through the foundation’s partnership with North American Technician Excellence (NATE).

Included in the application form are background questions, a 500-word essay, and two recommendation letters. Applicant must submit official transcripts (from high school, college, or university) sealed or provided directly by the school.

The Rees Foundation accepts applications year-round, and has two review deadlines: October 1 for Fall Semester applications and June 1 for Spring Semester applications. The scholarship money will go to the school’s accounting department and will be credited to the student’s account.

Scholarship money may not be used for more than two semesters. Unused scholarship money shall be returned to the Rees Foundation. Application will be submitted online. If the school is unable to submit an official electronic transcript, they should send a sealed official transcript via traditional mail.
