Reach Higher Montana Scholarships

Scholarship Description

Every year, Reach Higher Montana awards scholarships to Montana students through the Reach Higher Montana Scholarship program. We encourage students who wish to reach higher in education, career, and life to apply!

RHM’s four scholarships are:

• $2,000 Reach Higher Montana Scholarship (50)(Seniors)
• $1,000 Bridging the Gap Scholarship (1+)(Seniors-College)
• $2,000 Carl Valvoda Scholarship (1)(Seniors-College)
• $1,250 Gilman Family Scholarship (2)(College)
• $1,500 Horse Creek Scholarship (6)(Seniors-College)
• $5,000 Judy Martz Scholarship (1+)(Seniors-Adults)
• $2,000 Kelly Kuntz Scholarship (1)(College)
• $1,500 Rotary of Helena Scholarship (2)(Seniors)
• $500 Mary McCue Pre-Dental Student Scholarship (3)(College)

To qualify, applicants must be:

• Montana high school seniors, or
• Montana residents who graduated from a Montana high school or approved home school program and are currently attending a Montana college or university, and
• Attend or will attend at least half time, and
• Have at least a 2.5 grade point average (GPA), and
• Submitted the FAFSA for the academic year.

Eligibility Requirements

• 2.5 Minimum GPA
• For residents of the following states: Montana
• Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Award is available to U.S. citizens
