Scholarship Description
Scholarship to recognize achievement and reward Massachusetts students, who have graduated from high school within three years with a GPA of 3.75 and a SAT score of at least 1200, and who also meet the one-year residency requirement for tuition classification at the state colleges. This scholarship is awarded directly by the state university, as part of the admissions process. Interested applicants should contact the college directly, however, there is not a specific application for the Tsongas Scholarship. Students are selected and offered the scholarship by the appropriate college staff.

The nine (9) Massachusetts state universities:

- For residents of the following states: Massachusetts
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
