Scholarship Description
The North Dakota Indian Scholarship program was established to provide scholarship awards to Native American Students attending qualifying colleges or universities within North Dakota. Enrolled members of federally recognized Indian tribes may qualify for up to $2,000 annually in scholarship funding under this merit and need-based program.
Eligibility and Qualifications
To be considered for an award, applicants must:
- Be North Dakota residents and enrolled members of a federally recognized Indian tribe;
- Be accepted for admission by a North Dakota institution of higher learning or state vocational education program;
- Be enrolled full time; and
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0
Eligibility Requirements
- For residents of the following states: North Dakota
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Must be American Indian/Alaska Native
