Scholarship Description

Each year $500 scholarships are awarded to first-year or undergraduate students enrolled in a secondary educational facility. Applicants must be pursuing a career important to rural America, but not limited to agribusiness, farm operation, or production agriculture.

  • High school seniors and college undergraduates are eligible to apply
  • Farmers Union membership required ($30 annual family membership)
  • Must have at least 2.50 grade point average during the last three years of schooling

  • 2.5 Minimum GPA
  • Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
  • Award is available to U.S. citizens
