Scholarship Description
The North Dakota Academic scholarship and the North Dakota Career & Technical Education (CTE) scholarship were created during the 2009 legislative session. These scholarships are aimed at increasing high school rigor and retaining college students in North Dakota. Students can apply online during their senior year of high school.
To qualify for payment, students must be enrolled full time, meet the minimum cumulative GPA requirement of 2.75 and be maintaining degree progress. Awards are $750/semester or $500/quarter up to a total of $6,000 lifetime. Students have up to 6 years following high school to utilize the scholarship.

- Must currently be in high school
- For residents of the following states: North Dakota
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
