Scholarship Description
The National Foster Parent Association offers a scholarship to a former foster youth wishing to continue their college or technical school enrollment beyond the first year. A scholarship is awarded to a college or technical school-level student who is entering their second year of college or technical school.
When the scholarship has been awarded:
- Must be currently enrolled in college or technical school, and provide up to date transcript.
- Provide proof of enrollment in college or technical school for the upcoming school year.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must currently be in high school
- Type of institution award is open to: two-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Type of institution award is open to: trade/technical school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
