Scholarship Description

Created to encourage out-of-state students who have demonstrated high academic achievement in high school to enroll in New Mexico public institutions of higher education.

Students shall apply at the eligible institution he/she will be attending.

Eligibility

  • Non-resident or non-citizen of the United States;
  • Attend a public 4-year university in New Mexico;
  • Undergraduate;
  • Full-time enrollment;
  • Student must meet certain high school GPA and ACT score requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must currently be in high school
  • For residents of the following states: New Mexico
  • Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
  • Award is available to Canadian citizens
  • Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

  • Financial need analysis required
