Scholarship Description

Applicants must be enrolled members of the Navajo Nation who will be full-time students at an accredited college or university. Priority will be given to the math, engineering and environmental studies. Awards are made based on the field of study, and academic excellence and achievement. Award amounts are determined by the NGS Scholarship Committee following an evaluation of the Financial Needs Analysis of each applicant.

Eligibility Requirements

• 3.0 Minimum GPA
• Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
• Award is available to U.S. citizens

• Recommendations or references required
• Special requirements exist (These are specified in text.)
• Resume Required
• A copy of the applicant's Certificate of Indian Blood to verify enrollment with the Navajo Nation.
