Scholarship Description
Prize up to $1,800 will be awarded to the first place contest winner for essay on a topic related to Jewish heritage, culture, or values. One need not be Jewish to enter. Additional awards for five finalists. Essay must be between 250 and 1000 words. Open to middle and high school students in grades 7-12. Eligibility Requirements
- Aged between 12 and 18 years old
- Must currently be in high school
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
- Award is available to Canadian citizens
- Award is available to citizens of countries other than the U.S. and Canada.

Foundation seeks to encourage young people to treasure our Jewish heritage and better understand our contribution to civilization and culture. To this effort, the foundation sponsors an annual essay contest open to middle and high school students, regardless of religious adherence.
