Scholarship Description
“Frater Yakimo was initiated into Beta-Eta Chapter at Missouri University of Science and Technology on February 7, 1965, and graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with an engineering degree. He went on to law school at the University of Missouri, Kansas City, graduating in 1976. Frater Yakimo is self-employed as a patent attorney in private practice in Kansas City, Missouri. Mrs. Yakimo is a member of Alpha Delta Pi and is Executive Vice President at Argus Health Systems in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the US Army from 1967-69, including serving in Vietnam. Criteria: All of the TKE Foundation leadership and scholarship awards are for the benefit of active collegiate members of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, as of March 15, as defined by The Black Book Article VI Section 2 unless otherwise specified. This scholarship is awarded to veterans or members of Beta-Eta Chapter, but, if there is no qualified applicant, the scholarship will be open to any other qualified Teke.”
