Scholarship Description

The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, is being offered to assist in the payment of tuition to law school. It is not required that an applicant be enrolled in law school at the time of the submission of his or her application. However, the scholarship funds must be utilized within one year after the date of the announcement of the winner. The $1,000 award will be paid directly to the law school selected by the winner.
The scholarship is open to citizens of the United States who are enrolled at, or who intend to enroll at a U.S. law school accredited by the American Bar Association.
The application includes the online form; a statement of not more than 100 words telling us why you want to pursue a legal education; and an (optional) essay of not more than 750 words discussing how you will use your law school degree to make a difference in the world.
