Scholarship Description
KASF scholarships (which range from $500 to $5,000) are offered to the qualified Korean American students (including foreign students from Korea). All applicants must be enrolled in a full time program in the U.S during the scholarship application year. Selection based on financial need, academic achievement, school activities, and community services. Each applicant must submit an application to the respective KASF region.
Eligibility:
1. Heritage – Must be of Korean heritage (i.e., have a Korean parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent, or be adopted from Korea).
2. Enrollment – Will be a full-time student at a school in one of the designated Southern region states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee) during the upcoming school year.
3. Academics – Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
4. Financial need – Can demonstrate a need for financial assistance.

- Type of institution award is open to: four-year college
- Must be Asian/Pacific Islander
- Award is available to U.S. citizens
